ngadgets.com is an independent publisher of home appliance reviews and articles. We write about coffee machines, brewers, blenders, microwaves, refrigerators, ice makers, bread machines, dishwashers, washers and dryers, with a focus on what those machines are like to operate and maintain.
We are not a retailer. We do not sell appliances, hold stock, take payment, ship anything or provide after-sales service. Every purchase you make happens on somebody else’s website, under that company’s terms, and your contract is with them.
2. Permitted use
You may read this site, and quote briefly from it with attribution and a link. You may not scrape it in bulk, republish substantial portions of it, mirror it, use it to train a model without permission, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the server or database, or use it for anything unlawful.
3. Information, not professional advice
Everything published here is general information for consumers. It is not professional advice. Nothing on this site constitutes electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, construction, safety, financial or legal advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship of any kind.
Our write-ups are desk research built from manufacturer specifications, published listing data and aggregated buyer feedback. We do not physically test, install, run or own the appliances we write about. Where a review quotes a noise figure, a capacity, an energy rating or a cycle time, that is the manufacturer’s stated number and not a measurement we took. Nothing here is the result of testing we carried out.
4. Accuracy, and the limits of our source data
We take reasonable care, but we cannot promise that anything on this site is complete, current or correct. Specifications, model numbers, included accessories, availability and pricing all change without notice, and manufacturers routinely revise a product while keeping the same name on the box.
You should also know where our product data comes from. Much of the listing information used on this site originates from Amazon, and across this catalog it is frequently inconsistent. We have seen specification fields that contradict the product title, measurements recorded two different ways, and attributes belonging to an entirely different category of product. Where we spot a contradiction we name it in the copy rather than picking whichever figure reads better, but we cannot catch every one.
Always verify the current specification against the manufacturer’s own documentation and the live retailer listing before you buy. Do not rely on this site as your only source for any figure that matters.
5. Installation, electricity, gas and water
The appliances we write about involve mains electricity, and in many cases dedicated 240 volt circuits, gas supply lines, water supply and drainage connections, and venting to the outside of the building. Getting them wrong can cause fire, electric shock, gas leaks, carbon monoxide exposure, flooding and serious water damage.
We publish manufacturer specifications only. We cannot confirm what any particular home requires. We do not know your service panel, your circuit ratings, your gas supply, your water pressure, your drain configuration, your duct run or the condition of any of it. Those things vary from house to house and we have never seen yours.
Gas connections and hardwired electrical work should be carried out by a qualified, licensed installer. Local building codes and permit requirements apply, they differ from one jurisdiction to the next, and complying with them is your responsibility and your installer’s, not ours. Doing this work yourself may also void the manufacturer’s warranty.
One specific warning about our source data: listing data on this catalog sometimes records an incorrect voltage. A listing may show 120 volts for a machine that in fact needs a 240 volt circuit, or the reverse. Never plan an installation around a voltage figure taken from a listing or from this site. The rating plate on the appliance itself and the manufacturer’s installation sheet govern, and they override anything published here.
6. Fit, dimensions and clearances
Published dimensions in listing data are frequently the shipping carton rather than the appliance. This is one of the most common errors in the source data we work from, and it is the reason people end up with a refrigerator that will not clear a doorway or an over-the-range microwave that does not fit the cabinet span.
Before you buy, measure the installation opening, the path the appliance has to travel to reach it including doorways, hallways, stair turns and thresholds, and the clearances the manufacturer requires at the back, the sides and the top for airflow, door swing and drawer travel. Check those measurements against the manufacturer’s own installation sheet or dimension guide, which is the only document that authoritatively describes the machine. Treat any dimension you see on this site or on a retail listing as an indication to be confirmed, never as a final figure.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
